Some
stuff on the Wise Guy.
|
Scott Andre, the Director of the Wise Guys Comedy Troupe, a team of improvisational entertainers, has been performing in Florida since 1979. He started portraying characters in the Sarasota Medieval Fair and Bay Area Renaissance Festival. Soon he had a stage show and was traveling on the festival circuit doing such productions as the Ohio, Atlanta, and Miami Renaissance Festivals. His talents were then used for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay where he helped found The Congo Comedy Caravan. He was instrumental in designing a number of interactive characters for the theme park and wrote a collection of audience participation stage shows which were performed daily in the Stanleyville area at Busch Gardens. One such show, Crocodile Dummy, was a staple of the theme park for seven years. Scott now focuses his energies on the Wise Guys who have, since 1989, been doing interactive characters and comedy shows for corporate special events all over the country. The Wise Guys have engaged audiences as far north as New York, as far west as Los Angeles, and as far south as Puerto Rico. They have Performed for clients like GTE, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, MET LIFE, SARA LEE, BANK OF AMERICA, KELLOGG’S, JOHN DEERE CORP., PEPSI, NESTLES, USA NETWORK, FORD MOTOR COMPANY, and many many more. Plus, you can still find Scott and The Wise Guys at a number of Renaissance Festivals and theme parks entertaining guests with their wild and wacky interactive characters and shows. |
